These terms cover the Rest in Him app and restinhim.app. By using them you agree to these terms.

Using Rest in Him

Rest in Him is for your personal, non-commercial use.

• On iPhone and iPad, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
• On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

Scripture and our content

The Berean Standard Bible, the World English Bible and the King James Version texts are in the public domain. Everything else belongs to us: the app's design, narration recordings, illustrations, code and words. Please don't copy or redistribute them.

What you add stays yours

Your prayers, answers, recordings and photos are yours. They stay on your device and in your own iCloud or Android backup; we never receive them. You're responsible for what you add and for keeping your own backups.

Rest in Him Plus

Plus is sold through the App Store or Google Play, which handle payment, renewals, cancellation and refunds under their own policies.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancel or manage in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• The free trial is on the yearly plan only. If you don't cancel before it ends, the yearly price is charged. We remind you 2 days before it ends.
• "A year on us" gives you Plus free for one year, on request. It doesn't renew automatically and is never charged. We may change or end this offer for future requests, but not for a year already granted.

AI narrators

Hannah and Samuel, the narrators, are AI voices and are labelled as such in the app. Every verse they read was checked word for word against the text.

Not a substitute for care

Rest in Him is a Scripture and prayer app. It is not medical, psychological or crisis care. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988, or contact your local emergency number.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop parts of the app or the website. If we change these terms, we will update this page and its effective date.

No warranty

Rest in Him is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app or the website.
